We have put together some of the popular questions asked by a number of travelers about our safari car rental Uganda offers and Uganda in general. These include;
On your 4×4 car rental Uganda, its important you get to know the type of insurance that is offered to you and as Safari car hire Uganda, all our fleet of cars is insured under comprehensive insurance. However cases where the car is damaged out of negligence, ignorance and against the agreed terms and conditions, you will be held accountable and required to pay for the repairs.
Planning to self drive in Uganda, Its important to note that you will need crucial documents that allow you to be on the road. These do include making sure you have a valid driving license that is atleast 2 years old. This acts as proof that indeed you are licensed and went through basic training about driving and gives us the assurance that the rental car is in the right hands.
You will as well be requested to present a valid copy of your passport for identification and upon receiving these we will go ahead and reserve your preferred car for your trip. In case traffic officers ask you to stop, you will be required to stop and present these documents.
This is yet another important thing you need to find out before the start of your rental. At Safari car hire Uganda we offer our cars with a ¼ fuel tank and we will always request you to return the same amount of fuel at the end of your trip.
For travelers who would prefer to start their trip with a full tank, you can as well contact us prior to the start of your trip so that we arrange that for you and you will be requested to end your trip with a full tank too.
As long as you are aged between 23 – 65 years and hold a valid driving license you will be allowed to drive and rent a car in Uganda with us. Read more of our Frequently asked questions here.
